"People Are Beginning To Ask Questions"

Ask pretty much anybody what they remember most about 2020 and you'll get pretty much the same answer: It was the year when everything changed.

The pandemic will be remembered as a turning-point, a 'black swan' event that derailed everything everywhere and caused life as we knew it to come to a screeching halt.

But the news isn't all bad. Pastors, evangelists, and online ministries saw Christian conversions go through the roof, while internet searches for the topic of prayer surged to the highest level in five years.

Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship says the pandemic caused many people to start asking the big questions. For example, "Don't all religions lead to God?"

The answer, he says, is an emphatic 'No'. "The God of the Bible is the one, true God, and at some time in the future, the entire world will acknowledge this fact."

Laurie goes on to explain, "God's Word is tested and true. All that God says will come to pass. He sees all and knows all because He is eternal. While we are limited by space and time and can see things only from the beginning to end, God sees things from the end to the beginning.

"For instance, the words God spoke concerning the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, in the Old Testament were fulfilled to the letter and recorded in the New Testament. For that reason, when God speaks of the future--such as Christ's return to earth for all believers--you can bank on it."

A wise man once said: "God does not just limit Himself to a select group of people who must follow certain rituals in order to be acceptable to Him. He has made His offer of salvation to all who will turn to Him. In the end, whether everyone believes or not, all the world will indeed bow before Him as the one, true God." -- Greg Laurie

"I am God, and there is no one else like Me. Only I can tell you what is going to happen even before it happens. Everything I plan will come to pass..." (ISAIAH 46:9-10).
