"Financial Armageddon: Are We In For A Big Surprise?"

While consumer confidence soars to new heights, some experts are painting a much darker picture. Is deflation, depression, and financial Armageddon in our future? Yes, predicts former Reagan White House Budget Director, David Stockman.

Stockman believes, "The world--certainly the United States--is at a great inflection point in human history. The massive credit inflation of the last three decades has reached its apogee and is now going to splatter spectacularly."

What will that mean for me, you ask?

According to Stockman, "This will have lasting ramifications on how governments tax and regulate you, the type of work you and your family members will have available and what you get paid, the value of your nest egg, and all other areas comprising your quality of life."

Record high stock and bond prices are flashing danger signs to Stockman. His opinion? The coming "market crash will be a doozy!"

Next month marks the 10-year anniversary of the 2008 financial crisis and Stockman isn't the only one sounding the alarm. Financial analysts (and partners) Jim Sinclair and Bill Holter also see an implosion in the works.

"This is the beginning of something few expect," Sinclair explains. "This has very little to no precedent in history. The system has been unwinding for a significant amount of time."

Financial writer John Rubino agrees: "The crisis (in emerging markets) eventually works its way all the way to the middle, which is what happened after the housing bubble burst in 2007. It was just sub-prime mortgages to begin with, which was not really a big deal, but eventually it became a near-death experience for the entire global banking system. Since that time, instead of getting our financial house in order around the world we basically kept on borrowing money.  Now we have almost twice as much debt globally as we had in that debt-driven global financial crisis. So you can expect the next one to be bigger, scarier and more dangerous."

Meanwhile, the U.S. Debt Clock ticks relentlessly on with numbers too astronomical to wrap our brains around.

So while consumer confidence soars to new heights--unfortunately, so does our national debt.

A wise man once said: "There is no pain-free option when you borrow too much money." -- John Rubino
"Don't store up treasures here on earth, where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where they will never become moth-eaten or rusty and where they will be safe from thieves. Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be...But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:19-21, 33

"What Keeps DHS Awake @ Night? The Public Hasn't A Clue"

"America is under cyber attack. We are beginning to act but not quick enough and not forcefully enough," warned Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) testifying on Capital Hill at the Senate Judiciary Committee this week.

That's right, people. "The threats to our critical infrastructure, like power and water treatment companies, are real and the public doesn't have a clue how bad it is," reports CBN.

It appears Russian hackers have struck again, targeting conservative think tanks based in Washington, D.C. This latest attack prompted the alarmed lawmakers to demand the public, as well as privately- owned companies to be informed of this growing danger.

The problem? 90% of all critical infrastructure in the U.S. is privately-owned, and largely unprotected.

According to Homeland Security:
"Cyber space and its underlying infrastructure are vulnerable to a wide range of risk stemming from both physical and cyber threats and hazards. Sophisticated cyber actors and nation-states exploit vulnerabilities to steal information and money and are developing capabilities to disrupt, destroy, or threaten the delivery of essential services:

  • Electricity
  • Water supply
  • Dams
  • Nuclear reactors
  • Financial services
  • (et cetera, et cetera)
"Critical infrastructure describes the physical and cyber systems and assets that are so vital to the United States that their incapacity or destruction would have a debilitating impact on our physical or economic security or public health or safety.
"Our daily life, economic vitality, and national security depend on a stable, safe, and resilient cyberspace."
According to the FBI and DHS, Russian government cyber actors have been targeting U.S. critical infrastructure sectors including; energy, nuclear and commercial facilities since at least March, 2016.

So why are lawmakers only now demanding the public be informed?

A wise man once said: "Agencies responsible for protecting our physical infrastructure at the local, state and federal level aren't spending nearly enough on cyber security given how critical things like power, roads and clean water are to our society." -- Ellis Talton, StateOf

"Is God Using Trump To Fulfill Bible Prophecy?"

What are the odds that the three nations prophesied to attack Israel for financial gain are all on the brink of economic collapse?

In his Mid-East Prophecy Update, Pastor JD Farag highlights some of the amazing specific details given in the Ezekiel 38 prophecy and how precisely they are lining up with current events.

For instance:

  • The prosperity of Israel at the time they are attacked, (a recent development with the discovery of oil and natural gas), added to on Monday by Trump's defense and aid bill.
  • The fact that Saudi Arabia (as unlikely as that seemed only a short while ago) is friends with Israel at the time of the attack.
  • And how Iran, Russia, and Turkey are now on the verge of economic collapse (due, in part, to recent sanctions imposed by President Trump).
JD Farag believes the infamous Gog and Magog War prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and 39 cannot be far off. All the major players are on Israel's border even as minute details of the prophecy fall into place.

"Everything is lined up perfectly," asserts Farag. "I don't know how it could be any more exact. Wouldn't it also stand to reason it couldn't stay at this point for very much longer?"

"Look at how much has happened in just the last three years," Farag points out. "And fast forward the clock to even three years from now. Would all this still be in place? No, I don't believe so."

While Farag denies any knowledge of when the Rapture of the Church will occur, he does urge Christians to "wake up."

"We are very close," he says. "I don't think it's possible to overstate the urgency of the hour."

Farag goes on to explain that "there are many who believe that the Rapture will take place prior to or even in concert with the fulfillment of Ezekiel's prophecy. And if that's the case...then the time is at hand."

So is God using Trump, a secular businessman, in His prophetic alignment? Only God knows the answer to that.

"Something Wicked This Way Comes: Censorship"

InfoWars founder Alex Jones is now officially persona non grata. That's right gang, Apple, Facebook and YouTube (a subsidiary of Google) have given the controversial conspiracy theorist the boot.

Why, you ask? Apparently Jones is guilty of:

  • unspecified "hate speech"
  • glorifying violence
  • using dehumanizing language (though no examples of offending posts were given)
The problem? According to The Gateway Pundit :" Liberal tech giants Facebook, Twitter, Google/YouTube and Wikipedia have all stepped-up their harassment of conservative publishers since the 2016 election."

In a study conducted in June of top conservative news outlets, The Gateway Pundit found that Facebook has eliminated 93% of traffic to top conservative websites. For instance, Breitbart is down 72%, The Daily Caller down almost 77% and The Young Conservative is down over 99%, to mention just a few.

"Facebook began stamping out conservative news in January 2017," according to stats published in The Gateway Pundit, and the overall decline is staggering: 93.7 million views down to 6.8 million views in 18 months.

"On Monday, Facebook caved to the leftist media mob demanding censorship of InfoWars and permanently banned their page. This sets a chilling precedent for free speech. To all other conservative news outlets--you are next," warns The Gateway Pundit.

(Personal note: This particular blog has recently experienced this censorship firsthand, with a very sudden 55% decline in traffic. Don't let them get away with it. Please share this article and help us get the word out.  Thank you).

"What If Christ Had Not Come: Tragic Loss Or No Big Deal?"

Ever wonder what life would be like if Christ had not come?
No Christ = No Christianity
No big deal some might say.

Aside from the fact that there would be no salvation, no heaven, no life after death, how has the worldwide spread of Christianity affected secular history?

"Although Greece gave western civilization much art, philosophy and literature, and Rome provided law and government," contends Barry J. Beitzel, Ph.D., contributing editor of The Nelson Study Bible, it was the Christian worldview that provided:

  • the basis for modern science
  • efforts to alleviate poverty
  • universal education
  • the ideals of equality and liberty
"The God of order and beauty provided for the view that nature was predictable and orderly. The Christian belief that all humanity is a creation of God gave a foundation to the self-evident truth of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," Beitzel insists.

"Since people are made in the image of God they are valuable apart from their station in life, amount of wealth, or utility to society. People are helped, educated and protected simply because they are made in God's image. Loss of these Christian ideals would undoubtedly be a tragic loss to the well-being of humanity," Beitzel concludes.

And he's right. Strip the world of Christianity and the world will strip humanity of its worth.
"At that time you were without Christ. Having no hope, and without God in the world" (Ephesians 2:12).
"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).
A wise man once said: "Abundant life includes salvation, eternal life, God's life. It speaks not only of endlessness, but of quality of life. With Christ, life on earth can reach much higher quality, and then in heaven it will be complete and perfect." - Barry J. Beitzel, Ph.D.
