"Far-Left Fireworks: The Scary State Of Mind Of America's Fringe"

Rasmussen conducts public opinion polls on a wide variety of topics--but specializes on events in the news. Their motto? "If it's in the news, it's in our polls."

But this week's poll was a shocker: 59% fear violence from Trump haters; 31% predict civil war

"Most voters fear that political violence is coming from opponents of the president's policies, just as they did in the second year of Barack Obama's presidency, and nearly one-in-three think a civil war is next," Rasmussen reports.

Political tensions have soared in recent weeks over Trump's immigration policy. The retaliation? Administration officials have been refused service from restaurants; wanted posters with photos, addresses and phone numbers of Cabinet members were distributed; a mutilated animal was left on another's front porch, while a young woman's house was surrounded by screaming protesters in the wee hours of the morning, engineered to frighten her children. To make matters worse, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) called for activists to ramp-up the harassment.

The result? Legal experts have urged Trump aides to apply for concealed carry permits and buy guns.

And that ain't all folks.

On June 30, MoveOn.org is calling for liberals to rally in Washington D.C., and around the country "to send a message to Donald Trump and Republicans." "Any injury or damage occurring during these events  is not the responsibility of MoveOn.org." (Of course not--that would be Trump's fault along with everything else).

And now Splinter.com, a liberal website, is threatening Republicans with bombings because they don't like Trump's policies: "The U.S. had thousands of domestic bombings every year in the early 1970s. This is what happens when citizens decide en mass that their political system is corrupt, racist and unresponsive. Do you think that being asked to leave a restaurant, or having your meal interrupted, or being called by the public is bad? My fascism-enabling friends, This Is Only The Beginning", warns Hamilton Nolan of Splinter.com. "This is all going to get more extreme. And it should. We are living in extreme times."

We're living in extreme times all right and if the Democratic Party doesn't reign-in the situation, this summer could bring more than fireworks.
"When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily. But with wise and knowledgeable leaders, there is stability." Proverbs 28:2
"The prayers of a person who ignores the law are despised." Proverbs 28:9
A wise man once said: "Beware the coming civil war! Coming? Oh, it's already upon us. And has been raging for some time now. The once-serious political party known as "Democrats" has been hijacked by lawless lunatics who have been sowing discontent and fomenting violence for years now." -- Charles Hurt, The Washington Times

"Can You Tell Fact From Fake News? Our Information Ecosystem Is Polluted."

See the source image
As a generation with more technology in the palm of our hand than any before us, how is it we've been deluded by:
  • misinformation
  • propaganda
  • and flat out lies?
The Bible warns repeatedly about End-Time deception, and like a flood it has come to wash the truth away.

The result? An inability to discern fact from fiction. Let's face it gang, attention  grabbing headlines rarely tell the whole story and "sound bites" are often meant to manipulate.

But not recognizing fake news when we see it is only part of the problem, according to a study done by MIT.  sciencemag.org

After examining the flow of stories on Twitter, the study found that lies really do go half-way 'round the world before truth can get its shoes on. Why? Because people...wait for it...prefer fake news.

Apparently, false news claims were 70% more likely than the truth to be shared on social media. And you guessed it: politics were not immune. In fact, the more divisive the issue, the quicker it spread.

True stories? Not so much.

On average, the truth rarely got retweeted by more than 1,000 people, but the top 1% of false stories averaged more than 100,000 retweets.

It appears the information ecosystem is polluted and internet platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Google and YouTube (and most especially the MSM) only add to the muck & mire with their blatantly distorted and biased slant.

The fix? Do your homework and recognize that truth is rarer than fiction by ten to one.

A wise man once said: "A half-truth is even more dangerous than a lie. A lie, you can detect at some stage, but half a truth is sure to mislead you for long. -- Anurag Shourie, author
"And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end will be saved." Matthew 24: 9-14

"5 Simple Habits 'Rich' People Do"

See the source image

Business Insider published an article this week titled "Two Simple Things Rich People Do That You Probably Don't".

According to a study from Business Insider partner, MSM, the super-rich are most likely to:

  1. wake up before 6 a.m.
  2. get in a full workout every morning
  3. and plan their daily schedules the night before (Apparently, Business Insider can't count 'cuz that's clearly 3, not 2, but we digress)
PursueGod.org made a list of their own that might have been titled "5 Simple Things Spiritually Rich People Do That Spiritually-Poor People Probably Don't."

The actual title? "5 Habits For The Christian Life."

And if you're wondering what "Christian Habits" has to do with Bible prophecy--we'd answer "everything". Bible prophecy is supposed to have a purifying effect on the Christian's life. As we see world events lining up precisely as predicted, the realization that we will stand before a Holy God and give an account of our lives, motivates us to live in the way the Bible teaches and to develop the habits that will get us where the Bible says we should go.

Habit #1 - Reading the Bible
Christians believe that the Bible is inspired by God and is authoritative for our lives . But we need to understand the Bible for ourselves.

2 Timothy 3:16 --"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right."

Habit #2 - Praying
The Christian life is more than a religion, it's a relationship with a personal God. Just like any relationship, communication is essential.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 -- "Never stop praying."

Habit #3 - Connecting
Connecting with the people around us in a meaningful way is the natural result of connecting with God. The habit of connection is all about discovering and sharing God's truth in the context of intentional relationships through a variety of groups.

Hebrews 10:25 --"And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another..."

Habit #4 - Giving
The Christian life is not only about what we can get. The most mature Christians are givers. We can give our time, our talent, and our treasure.

2 Corinthians 8:7 -- "Since you excel in so many ways--in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge,  your enthusiasm, and your love for us--I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving."

Habit #5 - Mentoring
Jesus called every disciple to make disciples. Mentoring as a Christian is as easy as helping someone discover the truth of God's Word and inviting them to live it out in their every day life.

Matthew 28:19-20 -- "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations...Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you."

And while these 5 Habits may not bring you worldly wealth, they will definitely deposit treasure into your eternal account.

A wise man once said: "Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion--it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ." -- Billy Graham

"Europe's 'Savior' Forms 10-Nation Confederacy"

We have a confession to make. While the MSM has been busy denigrating any and all Trump accomplishments (ad nauseum) we've had our eye on Emanuel Macron. The "pretty-boy" French president took office on May 14, 2017, but didn't get our attention until his "splashy" cover shot on The Economist last year.

The Rothschild magazine portrayed Macron in a Christ-like walking-on-water photo with the headline "Europe's Saviour?"  Maybe they got the idea from his name Emanuel which means "God with us." (Not to mention the fact he compares himself to the ancient Roman "god" Jupiter).

See the source image

And now Emanuel Macron is gathering the leaders of ten nations to form an official "common European intervention force, defense budget and doctrine." Sound familiar?

At least 4 major Scripture passages (Daniel 2: 31-35, 40-45; 7: 7-8, 19-24; Revelation 13: 1-2; 17: 3, 7, 12-16) either directly or by implication prophesy a 10-nation confederacy forming in the end-times.

Coincidence? Maybe--but it's got prophecy expert J.D. Farag's attention "simply because of the avalanche of other prophetic developments all occurring at the exact same time," he said.

According to Farag:

  • Trump's soon-to-be-revealed "deal of the century" has the hallmarks of the covenant the Bible says the Antichrist will later enforce (Daniel 9).
  • A 10-nation union in the geographic area of the ancient Roman Empire is set to unite (Daniel 2).
  • Israel was reborn in a day, May 14, 1948 (Isaiah 66:8).
  • Israel is 70 years old: one generation (Matthew 24).
  • The U.S. Embassy move to Jerusalem (Zechariah)
  • The U.S. exit from the Iranian nuclear deal (Ezekiel 38 appears to go nuclear)
  • All of the players and conditions for the Ezekiel 38 war are currently in place.
  • All of the end-time technology is in place (Revelation 13, etc.).
  • Current "rogue" Pope fits description of the false prophet (Revelation 13:11).
While none of this is conclusive, Jesus warned, "When you see the events I've described beginning to happen, you can know His return is very near, right at the door. I assure you, this generation will not pass from the scene before all these things take place" (Matthew 24:33).

A wise man once said: "We must heed the warnings before it's too late. One day that trumpet will sound and we need to be ready. Salvation is available now to any who asks. Don't wait until it's too late." -- J.D. Farag
