"Doomsday: Ticking Closer Than Ever"

Last week we got our annual wake-up call: It seems Doomsday is rearing its ugly head again and the world has ticked the closest to global annihilation as it has ever been.

That's right gang. The Science and Security Board at the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists released their yearly "Doomsday Clock" report -- and you guessed it -- the news ain't good.

According to the keepers of The Clock:

"Nuclear risks increased significantly last year due largely to Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine...we are living in a time of unprecedented danger."

And while you can't exactly hang the dreaded Doomsday Clock on your wall to keep track of the seconds, it is a rather timely reminder: The world as we know it won't last forever.

Jesus said:

"Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father" (MATTHEW 24:36,42).

He added that the timing of the end would be unexpected, "...at an hour that you do not think to be it" (MATTHEW 24:44).

Even though we can't know the day and hour, Jesus didn't leave us in the dark -- He provided a composite of signs, or groups of events that would identify the time leading up to the end of the world...as we know it...

...but not the end of the world...period.

The truth is Earth will still be here even after it ends (as we know it) and it will be filled with people, just as the Bible promises in Psalm 37:29:

"The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it."

Eventually, heaven and earth will merge and become one -- a new heaven and a new earth.

How? God will bring about the conditions described in the Book of Revelation -- just make sure you read all the way to the end.

A wise man once said: "By understanding what God says about the end of the world as we know it, there can be peace in our hearts." -- Billy Graham

"In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world" (JOHN 16:33).

"For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind" (ISAIAH 65:17).

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things will be gone forever"  (REVELATION 21:4).

"SatanCon: The Largest Satanic Gathering In History"

The Satanic Temple (TST) is advertising its second convention to be held in Boston this spring as the "largest Satanic gathering in history," according to CBN News.

Promoted as " a weekend of blasphemy", SatanCon 2023 plans to celebrate an ancient German holiday known as "Witches Night" that occurs annually on April 30.

The group has been grabbing headlines and gaining national attention since 2016 for its attempts at establishing its "After School Satan Club" in elementary schools across the country.

While the group claims no belief in Satan, it does market a promotional video featuring a song encouraging young children to embrace Satan as an "imaginary friend."

Get a load of these catchy lyrics:

"Satan's not an evil guy,
he wants you to learn and question why
he wants you to have fun 'n be yourself
and by the way, there is no hell.

Science is important,
so we understand the world
Satan looks for truth
Let's help him, boys 'n girls...

...Everyone is different,
And that's ok with Satan
He'll always treat you equal
whether you're black, white or gay."

And that ain't all folks. Satanic and Pagan groups around the world are thriving, especially among the young.

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) census, published in November, the number of people in England and Wales identifying as Satanists saw a 167% increase in the last ten years.

At the same time, the number of Christians in the West dropped to under 50% for the first time in census history.

Shocking? Yes. Unpredictable? No.

A wise man once said: "In Luke 18:8, Jesus Himself asked, "When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth?"

When Jesus asked that question, He was talking about the importance of prayer and not losing heart. This is something those living in the last days before Jesus' return need to take on board. At the time Christians will be tempted to lose heart and give up in the face of a world that for the most part rejects the message of the Gospel and opposes those who believe it...Jesus never said if the Son of Man comes but when. It's up to us if He'll find faith when He comes." -- Tony Pearce, author

"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 PETER 5:8).

"Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and few there are who find it" (MATTHEW 7:13-14).

"Are We The End Time Generation?"

According to a recent Pew Research Poll, 39% of all U.S. adults believe we are now living in the 'end-times'.

The report went on to say:

"Periods of catastrophe and anxiety such as the coronavirus pandemic, have historically led some people to anticipate that the destruction of the world as we know it-the 'end times'-is near. This thinking often has a religious component that draws on sacred scripture. In Christianity, for example, these beliefs include expectations that Jesus will return to Earth after or amid a time of great turmoil."

True enough. Throughout history a certain percentage of people have always thought the end was near.

So what makes this time different?

Israel back in the land, for starters. The Bible is very clear: Israel must be regathered as a nation again before the end times can commence. (see Eziekiel 36:8; Matthew 24:32-35). This prophecy was fulfilled in 1948. After two thousand years of nonexistence, Israel became a nation again and the end time countdown clock began to tick.

And while the restoration of Israel is the single most important sign we are living in the end times, it is not the only sign.

"The Bible prophesies of many events that will occur in the end times," contends GotQuestions.org.

"These events can be categorized as natural signs, spiritual signs, socialogical signs, technological signs, and political signs. We can look to what the Bible says about these things, and, if the signs are present in abundance we can be certain we are, in fact, living in the end times."

Luke 21:11 lists some of the natural signs like earthquakes, famines, pandemics and natural disasters. First and Second Thessalonians and First and Second Timothy predict a great rebellion against God. Spiritual apostacy and deception will lead many to depart from the truth and follow lying spirits. Heresy, occultism and pagan religions will thrive, while true Christianity (as opposed to the many pseudo "christians" & churches that do not follow the Word of God) will be mocked, ridiculed and persecuted. Socialogically, immorality will run rampant and the ways of God as taught in Scripture will be considered hateful. Technology and politics will be used against the masses to decieve, kill and control them. And finally, all these signs (and many more) will begin gradually, like birth pains, growing closer together & more intense, until they are all happening everywhere at once, on a global scale.

So, are we living in the end times? Watch this 5 minute video and judge for yourself.

A wise man once said: "The truth is, we are a privileged generation. We see with our own eyes the fulfillment of prophecies from ages past. We live in a time when God is on the move in special and unique ways. Do not fear the times." - Hal Lindsey, author

"This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed" (HABAKKUK 2:3).

"So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be sober" (1 THESSALONIANS 5:6).

"Why Does The Government Plan To Dim The Sun?"

The White House is pushing forward with a possible combat strategy to "dim the sun" in an effort to fight climate change, even though many scientists are against the scheme.

The plan is being coordinated by the White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and involves spraying an aerosol-like sulphur dioxide into the stratosphere using specially-fitted aircraft.

(Wait-what? Isn't that the definition of chemtrails? You know, the stuff conspiracy theorists have been warning about for years and that causes dementia & every cancer known to man? Ummm...apparently not, because even though scientists claim that the research plan will test stratospheric aerosol injection to create sun-reflecting cloud cover...they never once mentioned the word 'chemtrails').

And while researchers acknowledge that spraying chemicals into the atmosphere could actually jeopardize crop yields, cause droughts and extreme weather (the very problems they're supposedly trying to solve), there's really no reason for us to worry our pretty little heads because the plan the White House has set into motion is only a five-year outline for research...and doesn't mean they'll actually do it. Really?

Chris Field, who chaired a National Academics of Science report last year, said,

"Until recently, I thought it was too risky, but slow progress on cutting emissions has increased motivation to understand techniques at the margins like solar geoengineering.

"I don't think we should deploy it yet and there are still a ton of concerns, but we need to better understand it. Climate change is causing widespread impacts, it's costing lives and wrecking economies. We are in a tough position; we are running out of time, so it's important we know more."

Right. They haven't deployed it...yet (the conspiacy theories were just a lucky guess, years ahead of it's time). And those crisscrossed patterns in the sky? Contrails...not chemtrails. Got it.

And besides, if both Bill Gates and Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum are for it...what could possibly go wrong?

A wise man once said: "Climate engineering has been going on for decades. They can and are using this as a weapon to control food production and control populations in various regions, inspite of the known health risks." - Dane Wigington, climate engineering researcher

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themsrlves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, dispisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power."

"2023-A Ray of Hope"

"In 2022, deception ruled the day," Hal Lindsey said.

Lindsey contends trust in government, educational institutions, the news media, health officials and doctors has probably been damaged beyond repair.

And recent revelations regarding 87,000 armed IRS agents, possible CIA involvement in the JFK assassination and a partisan (not to mention 'weaponized') FBI didn't help.

The Bible warns the last days will be characterized by:

  • deception
  • lawlessness
  • pandemics
  • wars
  • earthquakes/ natural dissasters
  • famines
Sin will run rampant. Men's hearts will grow cold. And things that are good will be called evil while things that are evil will be called good.

Are we there yet?

Kirk Cameron (aka Mike Seaver of  Growing Pains fame) authored a new Christian children's book, and was shocked to find that when he approached libraries about doing a storytime event for kids, they rejected his offer outright.

Why? The 55 libraries he contacted were too busy hosting Drag Queen Story Hours and didn't think Cameron's book, which teaches kids biblical wisdom, aligned with their "messaging."

On the other hand, Drag Queen Story Hours have been welcomed with open arms across the nation's library system and spread out into other venues where men dressed in garish women's clothes teach little kids how to 'twerk'.

The intention, according to the LGBTQ+ founders is the 'queering' of early childhood education. Or, in other words, removing a value system based on moral foundations and replacing it with a value system steeped in adult sexual mores and hedonism.

The ray of hope? Kirk Cameron managed to get the Indianapolis Public Library (which refused to host him) to rent him a meeting room (because, based on the First Amendment, they had to). Cameron's reading drew cheers, applause and the biggest crowd to the library in 137 years. Thousands showed up, so far above capacity that a spokesman for Cameron announced they planned to do multiple readings to accommodate the crowds. "There's a line out the library," he said, and one women observed, "only a tiny fraction of the people that showed up got to hear him."

Score one for the good guys and all the parents that turned out to push back against evil and support something good.

A wise man once said: "Christians can look forward to 2023 with renewed hope, but not because the world is getting better. It is not. More than ever before, it should be obvious that our hope is not in the mechanisms and programs of this world. It is in Christ alone." -- Hal Lindsey, author
"For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to right teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear. They will reject the truth and follow strange myths" (2 TIMOTHY 4:3-4).
