"Israel: Ground Zero"

According to the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and their famous Doomsday Clock--it is now 90 seconds before midnight.

Headlines out of Israel seem to prove their point. Consider:
  • Iran has threatened a direct attack against Israel in response to the recent Damascus hit. Israel believes it will come in the form of a massive swarm of attack drones and missiles.
  • The Israeli Air Force has begun a bombing campaign in Rafah despite Biden's threats to pull support.
  • And Russia (of Gog & Magog fame) has installed three military posts on the Israeli-Syrian boarder, as well as warships in the Red Sea.
In 1948, the nation of Israel was born (again) and with it many biblical prophecies were fulfilled, each graphic, literal, and exact. Almost all of end-time prophecy also revolves around (you guessed it!) Israel.

In fact, the entire Scripture is woven through and through with provable, precise prophecy in regards to God's chosen people--the Jews. (For a detailed account of those prophecies, see archived posts from July 2011: Israel: The Key to Prophecy-Part 1 Part 2)

The Scriptures seem to indicate the Jews will only be back in their Land for one generation before the return of the Messiah. And while no one can say for sure how long a generation is, Psalm 91 mentions it being 70 or 80 years. We are now at year 77.

Is it possible the Atomic Scientists are correct in setting The Clock @ 90 seconds before midnight - or are they  just alarmists? You do the math.
"So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be sober. Night is the time for sleep and the time when people get drunk. But let us who live in the light think clearly, protected by the body armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. For God decided to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out His anger on us. He died for us so that we can live with Him forever, whether we are dead or alive at the time of His return."  (1THESS. 5:6-10)
A wise man once said: "Paul warns us that God will hold all people accountable for their attitudes and actions. So don't procrastinate. God wants us to act immediately to receive His forgiveness and power to help us change."  -- David Stoop, author

Anti-Semitism Predicted in the End-Times

Roughly a decade ago, Mosab Hassan Yousef wrote the book on what it's like to grow up in Gaza...and we mean that literally.

Yousef, a Hamas-raised Christian convert, now living in the United States, authored the book  Son of Hamas that is dedicated to revealing the truth behind Hamas and the Palestinian militants that comprise much of the population of Gaza. And it's not pretty.

"Hamas is not seeking coexistence and compromise. Hamas is seeking conquest and taking over," he explains.

"And by the way, the destruction of the State of Israel is not Hamas' final destination. Hamas' final destination is building the Islamic caliphate, which means an Islamic state under (sic) the rubble of every other civilization." He also said it doesn't matter to them how many Palestinians die to accomplish that goal.

Yousef is the son of a Hamas founding member and was raised in the organization, but after reading the Bible, he rejects everything Hamas stands for.

Groomed for Hamas leadership, he wants the world to recognize:
  • how Hamas indoctrinates the Palestinian people to hate Jews from childhood
  • why there can never be peace between Israel and Hamas
  • how Hamas tortures its own people
  • why Hamas desires so many Palestinian casualties in the current conflict with Israel
"Hamas," he says, "doesn't care about the lives of Palestinians; does not care about the lives of Israelis or Americans. They don't care about their own lives. They consider dying for the sake of their ideology a way of worship."

Meanwhile, anti-Semitic attacks are skyrocketing amid the growing outrage of the international community over what some see as the indiscriminate bombing of Palestinian civilians.

Anti-Israel protest are springing up all over the world, despite the fact that Israel takes great pains to avoid civilian casualties:
  • raining down leaflets from airplanes over Gaza warning people to evacuate the areas to be bombed
  • calling ahead on telephones for the same purpose
  • dropping unloaded missiles as a warning to clear the area ahead of a 'real' bombing.
Israel has done everything possible to avoid civilian deaths, but the world doesn't seem to notice. Hamas hides its missiles among its population and encourages them to stay put and become martyrs. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu says it best:
"Here's the difference between us. We're using missile defense to protect our civilians, and they're using their civilians to protect their missiles.
Israel can't win. Even if they achieve their objective: to destroy terror tunnels under Gaza & wipe out Hamas, they will never win in the court of public opinion.

The Bible clearly predicts that the nations of the world will turn against Israel in the last days, just as they turn against God. Why? Because the world hates what God loves and God loves His Chosen people the Jews.

Christian, stand with Israel, pray for the Palestinian people and understand the times we are living in.
"I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah...And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it..." (ZECHARIAH 12: 2,3)
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you prosper." (PSALM 122:6)
"For the days will come upon you (Israel), when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side."  (LUKE 19:43)

A wise man once said: "If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel."-- Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister

"2 Solemn & Related Warnings: But The World Is Asleep"

Christian author and founder of  The Berean Call , Dave Hunt, died back in 2013. He left behind a legacy of expert scholarship, impeccable research, and a wide variety of in-depth studies we can all benefit from. He also left us with a couple of warnings:

  • "There are two solemn and related warnings which Christ gave concerning His coming again. First of all, He repeatedly and earnestly declared that He was coming very soon and should be expected at any moment. That He hasn't come in more than 1900 years, far from discrediting that promise, makes it all the more urgent that we heed it in our day. By heaven's reckoning, Christ has been gone a very short time; and His coming is nearer now than it ever was."
  • "Secondly, He warned us about preoccupation with the things of this life. Christ knew the attraction which the pleasures and ambitions of this world, wicked though we realize it to be, can have for each of us. So He warned us that unless we kept the thoughts of His return fresh in our hearts at all times, we would be caught by surprise at His coming."
Dave Hunt was adamant about the fact that there are no signs for the Rapture of the church. Not even one. There is absolutely nothing that must proceed it. Jesus said that He would come like a thief: "At such an hour as you think not" (LUKE 12:40). Some translations say He's coming when you least expect Him. There are at least twenty warnings in the Bible telling us to watch, be ready, and stay awake.

Why? Because complacency is human nature. Remember the parable of the 10 bridesmaids in Matthew 25? "When the bridegroom was delayed, they all lay down and slept" (emphasis added).

The world is asleep right now and sadly, so is the church. And yet:
  • Israel is back in the land (Ezekiel 37:21)
  • surrounded by enemies, and at the epicenter of world events (Psalm 83)
  • Iran and Russia have a military alliance for the first time in history (Ezekiel 38:5)
  • technology has advanced to the degree that everything predicted in the Scripture is possible for the first time in history (Revelation 13)
  • the financial world is sagging under its debt load (Revelation 6:5-6; James 5:1-3)
  • sin is rampant; hatred, everywhere, especially for the Jew (Matthew 24:9)
  • everything has gone super sized (i.e. deception, lawlessness, division, etc.) (Luke21:16).
People--these are signs for the Tribulation and the Second Coming, not the Rapture, two distinct events.

No one knows the day or the hour of the Rapture, but once it comes (when we least expect it) the Second Coming can be calculated to the very day. Everything hinges upon the Rapture because it is the kickoff of the last days as detailed in the Book of Daniel (Daniel 9:20-27).

Jesus said, "Watch out! Don't let me find you living in careless ease and drunkenness, and filled with the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, as in a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep a constant watch. And pray that, if possible, you may escape these horrors and stand before the Son of Man" (LUKE 21:34-36).

Why did Jesus warn us to keep a constant watch? Because the signs of the Tribulation will all be there in the distance for anyone who is aware and watching to see. For those who are not watching it will be "business as usual right up until the hour when the Son of Man returns" (LUKE 17:30).

"So keep a sharp lookout! Don't let Him find you sleeping when He arrives without warning. What I say to you I say to everyone: Watch for His return!" (MARK 13:35-37).

A wise man once said: "How close are we? Christ could come at any moment--before I finish writing this page, or before you finish reading it. Does that thought bring joy or regret--perhaps even fear? The honest answer to that vital question reveals one's spiritual condition and the measure of one's love for Him." -- Dave Hunt (1926-2013)

"April 8th Solar Eclipse: What Does It Mean?"

You may have heard the phrase, "A little learning is a dangerous thing." And when it comes to Bible prophecy, it's especially true. Why? Because God takes His Word very seriously and the last thing you want to do is add or subtract from it, as both carry a dire consquence.

On April 8,2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada, traveling from the Southwest to the Northeast. In 2017, (7 years ago) another total solar eclipse crossed the US, moving from the Northwest to the Southeast. When you take the paths of these two eclipses and cross them together, they form a giant X over the nation.

So what, you ask? Exactly....so what.

While two major eclipse events 7 years apart forming a giant X may seem cool and all, it probably shouldn't be the cause of so much fear and wild conjecture.  .

Sooooo, we'd like to take this opportunity to stop the madness, because let's face it, speculation about end times events is running rampant.

Some of it is true and some of it is just crazy talk.

But is there any way to know the difference?

Yes, as long as one sticks to Scripture and avoids guesswork. It is quite possible to understand the framework of the end-time scenario. It actually makes a lot of sense. For instance:

The Bible tells us all of history revolves around His chosen people--the Jew. Watch what happens in Israel and you'll have a pretty good idea of where we are on God's prophetic timeline.

In fact 1948 (the year Israel was reborn as a nation) marked the beginning of the final generation. What we don't know is exactly how long a generation actually is. Most contend it's 70 or 80 years, but no one knows for sure. Even so, the stage is being set for what the Bible calls the 'final hour'. Developments of great significance are coming together so fast it's hard to keep up with them all. But that doesn't mean it's all coming down tomorrow (although it could). Every generation of Christians has hoped to be the last generation, but until Israel actually existed again, we weren't sure if this prophecy was to be taken  literally or spiritually. Now we know.

The Bible teaches that Christ's return is imminent. That means there is no prophetic event that remains to be fulfilled before He can return.

So how close are we?  If there is one thing we all learned from various wrong speculations, it's this: No man knows the day or the hour. And trying to theorize beyond what Scripture actually predicts is a fool's errand. But what we can (and should) do is watch, wait and be ready.

The Bible warns : "...that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and of the day. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint to us wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you are doing".
(1 THESSALONIANS 5: 2b-11)

The above scripture describes the contrast between the mindset of believers and unbelievers. The world (or unbeliever) is asleep to what God is doing; so busy with the cares of life, that even all the weirdness of the last few years and what's happening in Israel and the threat of a widening war has failed to alarm them enough to seek God.

In other words, the indifference of the people will cause them to turn a deaf ear and give no thought at all to their eternal destiny. They will be caught completely unready and unsaved, left behind to face the coming judgment of God's wrath upon all who remain after the Rapture of the Church.

In contrast, Christians should be awake and aware, prepared at every moment to present the quality of her (or his) life before the judgment seat of Christ, knowing that our departure (either by rapture or rupture) could happen at any moment.

(And while speculating about strange omens or giant Xs may be fun, you won't find them in the Bible...just sayin'.)

A wiseman once said: "We're in the final countdown...but first this old planet will be shaken up. All the sin and corruption will be wiped out. It will be a very tough time for those who reject Jesus Christ. Already God is warning mankind to change. The impending signs of judgment are all around us. God declared these things in the Book of Revelation so that you might be warned. It's time to wake up."

"We're About To Wreak Havoc On Ourselves. Why?"

What do heart attacks, car crashes, obesity, and depression have in common?

If you guessed 'daylight savings time', you'd be correct!

According to Dr. Phyllis Zee, a sleep researcher at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago:
"Time changes mess with sleep schedules, a potential problem when so many people are already sleep deprived.
"Research suggests that chronic sleep deprivation can increase levels of stress hormones that boost heart rate and blood pressure, and of chemicals that trigger inflammation."
Circadian biologists believe our biological clock is set by exposure to sunlight and darkness which regulates metabolism, blood pressure and hormones. Even a small disruption of only an hour a day has big consequences, claims Till Roenneberg, a circadian rhythm specialist at Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Germany.

And yet, for the last 100 years, in spite of the havoc it wreaks on our body, we continue to tinker with light. Why? To save a measly 3.5% in electricity.

Imagine if instead of messing with physical light and the sun, we, as a nation, turned back to the real Light and the Son?

'Got Questions Ministries' has some mind-blowing facts when it come to light (wait 4 it!):
"The Bible refers to God as light many times as in 1 John  1:5: 'This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is light...' and John 12:36: 'While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light...' or Job 24:13:'There are those who rebel against the light...' and John 1:7: 'He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light...' or Matthew 17:2:'And He was transfigured before them and His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became white as light.'
"Many of these references to light appear to have another dimension to them, more than simply metaphorical or spiritual; they appear to indicate actual physical attributes of light to God as well.

"We live in a scientific and technological age, it is important for apologists to understand that while the Bible is not a science text book, when it does make references that can be verified by science, archeology and secular historical text, it is always correct.

" Second Peter 3:8 says, "Dear friends, don't forget that for the Lord one day is the same as 1,000 years, and one thousands years is the same as one day."

"So, let's test what we know from science about light and plug it into a formula:
  • 1,000 years = 1 day / square root of (1-v2/c2)
  • V solves to: 299,792,457 meters/sec or the speed of light
So, in other words, in one day (24 hours), light travels 1,000 years

" Second Peter 3:8 and Einstein's formula for Special Theory of Relativity is one proof (among many others) that the Bible is divinely inspired and that God's time is the universal standard of time set by the velocity of light.

"Einstein's scientific work eventually returned him to believe in God."
Jesus said, "I am the Light of the world, he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness..." -- JOHN 8:12
A wise man once said: "He (Jesus) lights the path ahead of us, so we can see how to live. He removes the darkness of sin." -- Stanley S. Drane, Got Questions Ministries

"The Least Happy People Have 2 Things In Common"

Americans are unhappier than they've ever been before.  According to a recent study by The Institute for Family Studies:

"The last few years have been hard on everyone...Pandemic disease, lockdowns, protests, riots, crime, divisive politics, shootings, deaths of dispair, and an epidemic of loneliness-the list of reasons for being not-too-happy seem to be legion," the study found.

The least happy?

"Unmarried and not religious. Today, 60% of people under 35 fit this category...more young people lack the vital support of a spouse and a religious community, and thus new forms of adversity can rapidly lead to astonishingly severe levels of unhappiness," the study revealed.

Not surprising, when you consider that a new Gallop Poll found both faith in God and the Bible have dipped to all-time lows, with younger, more liberal Americans the least likely to believe in either.

The Bible predicts there will be a great apostacy--a rebellion or abandonment of the truth--during the endtimes. This will include a wholesale rejection of God's revelation found in the Bible, a further "falling away" of an already fallen world.

GotQuestions.org put it this way:

"In 2 Thessalonians 2:3, Paul makes it clear that the day of the Lord, a time of worldwide judgment (Isaiah 13:6; Obadiah 1:15), will not transpire until two things happen. First, the falling away, or great apostacy, must occur. Second, the 'man of lawlessness' must be revealed, he who is called the 'son of perdition' also known as the Antichrist. Once this person makes himself known, the endtimes will indeed have come."

According to the polls, we are well into the 'falling away or great apostacy.' The time to secure your salvation is now--once the Church is removed and the 'son of perdition' shows up it will be too late to escape the coming time of Tribulation.

A wise man once said: "The Greek word translated "rebellion" or "falling away" in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is apostasia, from which we get the English word 'apostacy'. It refers to a general defection from the true God, the Bible, and the Christian faith. Every age has its defectors, but the falling away at the endtimes will be complete and world wide. The whole planet will be in rebellion against God and His Christ. Every coup requires a leader, and into this global apostacy will step the Antichrist. We believe this takes place after the church has been raptured from the earth." - GotQuestions.org

"At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold" (MATTHEW 24:10-12).

"2 Major Signs You Need 2 Know"

Because so few mainline churches teach on Bible prophecy, many have no idea how far along the prophetic timeline we have come.

Prophecy expert Bill Salus contends God's calendar of endtime events all revolve around Israel and has a definite beginning-the rebirth of the nation of Israel-and another major signpost (yet to come, but also involving Israel) signaling we are getting close to the end.

"The re-establishment of Israel on May 14, 1948 is when the world's hour glass made its final turn," Salus declares.

"The Magog invasion of  Israel (see Ezekiel 38-39), is the other major prophetic maker for this generation to consider. Ezekiel 38:1-39:20 contains forty-three verses of some of the most consolidated and descriptive prophetic information found anywhere within the Bible. The reader of these passages doesn't need to be a Bible scholar, rocket scientist, or even a believer to glean a relatively detailed understand of this forthcoming prophecy. By interpreting these verses literally the reader is made aware of the:

  • Timing of the event- (in the endtimes) Ezekeil 38:8,16
  • Identities of the invading coalition- (Russia, Turkey, Iran, etc.) Ezekiel 38:1-5
  • Motivation for the invasion of Israel- (to plunder Israel) Ezekiel 38:12-13
  • Supernatural defeat of the invaders- (through earthquakes, pestilence, flooding rains and great hailstones) Ezekiel 38:18-23
Salus places this invasion just before the 7 years of tribulation, but after the Rapture of the Church.

So, how far along the prophetic timeline are we?

According to Amir Tsarfati of Behold Israel, the Magog coalition of Ezekiel 38 is being formed right now before our very eyes:

" We are watching some very interesting developments...the mainstream news is not telling you the truth. Iran has enough enriched-uranium right now to make at least five nuclear bombs...and nobody is doing anything about it...when the time comes, they will come against Israel."

According to Bill Salus, when they do, it will officially herald the 'final stage' of the endtimes prophetic timeline.

A wise woman once said: "Things are happening so quickly that observers of the times can't keep up. It's as though the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are now out of the barn...No previous generation has seen this stunning convergence allowing everything to fall into place." - Jan Markell, Olive Tree Ministries

"Don't be troubled. You trust God, now trust in Me. There are many rooms in My Father's home and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with Me where I am. And you know where I am going and how to get there" (JOHN 14:1-4).

"The #1 Reason People Reject God"

Ironically, the more current events follow the precise pattern laid out in the prophetic Scriptures, the less people are inclined to believe it.

In fact, the percentage of  U.S. adults who say they are "absolutely certain" God exists has slipped, according to  Pew Research Center's Religious Landscape Study.

No surprise there--anyone with half a functioning brain cell can see God is no longer at the top of our national priority list.

And for the college student, the downward trend has accelerated even more. Christians are being mocked and ridiculed by a university system that insists science and God are mutually exclusive.

Physicist Frank J. Tipler, an expert in the field of quantum cosmology, begs to differ.

In his book, "The Physics of Christianity", the scientist "demonstrates that the essential beliefs of Christianity are wholly consistent with the laws of physics."

Tipler even illustrates a scientific foundation for the Virgin Birth, the Resurrection, and the Incarnation of Christ.

While interesting, scientific proof doesn't always result in saving faith.

Why? Because faith in Christ as Savior is not a head issue-it's a heart problem.

Simple belief in God will not get you into heaven. James 2:19 says:
"You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror."
Saving faith takes God at His word. The Bible is His Word and it says every one of us is a sinner separated from God.

The Good News? "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and He was buried. He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures" ( 1CORINTHIANS 15:3-4).

The Gospel is centered on the physical death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God who became human yet never sinned (see Galatians 1:6-10).

Christ died for our sins. He suffered in our place to endure the just wrath of God against us, according to the Scriptures.

What does according to the Scriptures mean? Jesus Christ lived and died in accordance with the prophecies about Him in the Old Testament (see Psalm 16:10, Psalm 22, Isaiah 53:8-10). Thus, authenticating the Bible as God's inspired (read: God breathed) Word.

The Resurrection verifies the fact that Christ's death paid the full price for sin. The Greek term translated "rose" emphasizes the ongoing effects of this historical event.

In other words: Jesus Christ is alive and well today. And according to the Scriptures, He will be coming back again soon.

But only those who really believe this will turn away from their sin and be saved.

A wise man once said: "When a person refuses to come to Christ, it is never just because of a lack of evidence. He refuses to come because he willingly ignores and rejects the drawing of God's Spirit on his heart. No one in the final analysis really fails to become a Christian because of lack of arguments; he fails to become a Christian because he loves darkness rather than light and wants nothing to do with God." -- William Lane Craig, Bible professor

"Jesus spoke to the people and said,' I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life" (JOHN 8:12).

"And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil" (JOHN 3:19).

"Two Simple Secrets That Will Change Your Life"

Want to live a longer, more fulfilling life?

Don't worry, be happy.

That's right gang--being an optimist could lead to a longer, healthier life according to new research.

"Happiness is good for the body as well as the mind," asserts study author Hayami Koga, Ph.D. candidate at the Harvard T.H. Chah School of Public Health. In fact, Koga believes "staying positive is as good for you as exercise and can add many years to your life."

But these are turbulent times. Every day the world grows darker and more dangerous. For those of us who study Bible prophecy, it has become clear that the "birth pains" as described in the Bible have begun. And as every mother knows, once the pains begin they only get worse until it's over.

How can we be happy and optimistic in times like these?

Well, according to the World Health Organization, most people can't. Depression and anxiety disorders are going through the roof. Globally, more than 300 million  (and climbing) people of all ages suffer from depression and many millions more have anxiety disorder.

Unfortunately, global trends are anything but optimistic...and yet God expects us to be happy. Is it possible given today's circumstances?

Andre Van Belkum of Life, Hope & Truth Ministries thinks so:

"The Creator of our bodies and minds has given us a handbook as an assured, dependable and unfailing source of knowledge. It outlines basic principles and instructions for daily living.

"If applied, these guidelines will lead us into a life guaranteed to produce lasting happiness and contentment. Rejection of these principles will undoubtably produce heartache and unending sorrow. These biblical guidelines are not magical formulas, but practical rules of daily conduct that govern the way to happiness.

"The Bible contains the reason you were created. It contains God's plan for you and what He expects from you. It explains where the world is heading and why-and how God is going to rescue it. It contains the blueprint for living a successful, meaningful life in the present, and inheriting eternity in the future."

And yet, the vast majority of people refuse to read it.

A wise man once said: "The words of God are as timeless and powerful today as the the day they were first recorded." -- Life, Hope & Truth Ministries

"Happy are they who are without sin in their ways, walking in the law of the Lord. Happy are they who keep His unchanging word, searching after Him with all their heart" (PSALM 119:1-2).

"3 Startling Predictions for 2024"

Financial and geopolitical analyst Martin Armstrong, has a knack for predicting the future, or rather, his Socrates computer program does.

Legendary and sought after by world leaders for its uncanny accuracy, Socrates has three startling predictions for 2024:

1. A  GOP win for president

2. Global Civil unrest/chaos

3. An August or September war

Socrates "sees" increasingly difficult economic & international instability and unrest that will reach a tipping point by summer or early fall.

Armstrong believes the global unrest is a byproduct of  economic instability. "Both of these cycles are converging at the same time," he says.

And lastly, Armstrong believes the probability of  a false flag incident which triggers WWIII is unfortunately high.

Britt Gillette of Prophecy News Watch also sees a convergence taking place, a convergence of multiple prophetic signs:

  • Israel back in the Land/the Jews back in Jerusalem (Jeremiah 23:7-8, Ezekiel 29:28, Isaiah 11:12, Psalm 103:7).
  • Widespread deception (Matthew 24).
  • Worldwide unrest/lawlessness (Matthew 24).
  • Rise of Gog/Magog Alliance: Russia, Iran, Turkey (Ezekiel 38).
  • A united Europe comprised of both weak and strong nations (Daniel 2:42).
  • Epidemics/famines/earthquakes (Matthew 24).
  • Wars and rumors of war (Matthew 24).
Jan Markell of Olivetree Ministries agrees and goes on to say:
"How can I not reference the raging apostasy, the wolves among the flock, and the doctrine of demons, all thriving in many churches today? This sad state of church affairs may be one of the most significant signs of the times out there...I could list dozens more. We are trending towards the Tribulation, the 'time of Jacob's trouble.' The stage is being set now. The curtain for the last act could rise any day. End-time activity is now at a record level."

One of the last signs according to Britt Gillette? Ironically, it's this:

Scoffers who deny the signs are even happening (see 2 PETER 3:3-4).

A wise man once said: "What is the number one prophetic sign? What sign more than any other points to the soon return of Jesus Christ? While any number of signs are present, I believe one stands out above all others. In fact, Jesus Himself told us what it is. When the disciples said, "Tell us the signs of your coming and the end of the age (MATTHEW 24:3), Jesus detailed a number of things to look for. He then said, "When you see all these things, you can know My return is near. I'm right at the door." (MATTHEW 24:33). He also said, "When all these things begin to happen, look up for your salvation is near!" (LUKE21:28). This means the number one sign of Jesus' return is all the signs appearing together."

"...when you see the events I've described beginning to happen, you can know His return is very near, right at the door." (MATTHEW 25:33).

"Disease X= WHO Tyranny"

Huge decisions are being made right now that will affect your life and the lives of your children. How so, you ask?

According to Fox News:

"World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus has called on countries (all countries, as in 'the entire world') to sign onto the health organization's pandemic treaty so the world can prepare for 'Disease X'."

What's 'Disease X'? Ghebreyesus called it our "common enemy", but scientists call it a "hypothetical placeholder virus" that doesn't exist yet, but if it did, it could be "20 times deadlier than COVID-19."

Yikes. But that isn't all...

Disease X has already been added to the WHO's short list of pathogens that could cause a "serious international epidemic."

According to Ghebreyesus:

"There are things that are unknown that may happen, and anything happening is a matter of when not if, so we need to have a placeholder for that, for the diseases we don't know, " he (actually )said.

Meanwhile, world leaders met back in March of 2021 to announce that a treaty was being negotiated and drafted.

The end result?

A treaty that many experts contend will prove disasterous to national as well as personal sovereignty.

Dr. Meryl Nass, an expert on vaccines, is one of them.

"This treaty gives the Director-General of the WHO enormous power to dictate healthcare to everyone around the world. They want the ability to mandate vaccines on you in the future for pandemics that they declare at will with no standards for what that entails. They want the right to withhold drugs and to shut your doctor up. So, WHO Director-General Tedros (Ghebreyesus), who does not have a medical degree, would become the world's doctor."

Dr. Nass goes on to warn that if the WHO gets this power, it can force you to take a vaccine that has been sped through the development process (normally 10 years) in only 4 months. And they will be completely absolved from all liability.

So, when do they plan to roll out this treaty? May 2024. Yikes indeed.

A wise man once said: " It's a treaty to end your sovereignty and medical autonomy. It's a mechanism to take control of your medical decision-making against your will. And a means to end your freedom by declaring a worldwide pandemic or medical emergency. It's a United Nations back door takeover of America." --James Newman, political commentator

"A prudent person foresees danger coming and prepares for it. But the senseless rush blindly forward and suffer the consequences" (PROVERBS 23:3).

WEF: New World Order?

Now that the 2024 election season is in full swing, here's something you may want to consider:

Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF) was in Davos predicting AI will soon make elections obsolete.

Wait---what?

Apparently, Schwab (and all the other elite Davos technocratic globalists) believes AI will soon be able to predict the winner of future elections (presumably by reading our minds), so why bother to actually have them?  (Can anyone say 'New World Order'?)

Meanwhile, you may have heard the term 'Christian nationalism' bandied about this election cycle and got the distinct impression it was something you didn't want to touch with a ten-foot pole.

Family Research Council President Tony Perkins explains why:

"Christian leaders have long held the Left-coined term 'Christian nationalism' as a perjorative to stop believers from speaking about national issues. They are stretching that term to suggest that anyone bringing faith into the public square is advocating for 'Christian nationalism'".

Stephen Coughlin of  Unconstrained Analytics and a Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute agrees:

"Christians should recognize the term 'Christian nationalism' as part of a campaign designed to delegitimize you. It directly attacks American Christians for being politically active. As such, it's an attack on identity. It denies your right to express a faith-informed point of view."

And that ain't all folks. The ill-defined term 'Christian nationalism' has gotten a ridiculous amount of news coverage in the lead-up to this election cycle, almost universally negative. The New Republic brands the beliefs as an 'authoritative political ideology'. Time calls 'Christian nationalism' "the greatest threat to democracy in America today."

Why? Because Christians who dare to speak up are firmly within the historical mainstream of American conservatism and threaten the far Left's Godless agenda. For instance, who, if not the Christian will defend the right to life? And who will protest the evil of Drag Queen story hour? If the Christian remains silent while our schools corrupt our children with "gender fluid" brainwashing because they don't want to be political, then what on earth are we good for?

The bottom line is this: Unless and until Klaus & his cronies put an end to democratic elections, we have a moral obligation to vote our biblical values.

A wise man once said: "Somehow, the Church has gotten out of the lane of being the salt and light that God has called us to be...and I'm constantly labeled as a 'Christian nationalist'. I don't accept labels. I don't accept intimidation. I don't accept bullying." --Jack Hibbs, CCCH

"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan" (PROVERBS 29:2).

"2024 Could Be A Pivotal Year In Bible Prophecy"

Unrelenting bad news the last few years has caused many of us to simply tune out. We don't want to hear it any more. We've got information saturation and it's become mind-numbing. Lawlessness, deception, political intrigue, war...enough bad news to make your head explode.

And it's not just here-it's everywhere, globally, all at once.

Clearly these are tumultous times and nobody enjoys the heartache and suffering they bring. But there's a line being drawn:

For those of us who believe in the imminent return of Christ, these are exciting (though difficult) times. The signs pointing to His soon return are everywhere. For those concerned only with this present life and who either don't know or don't care about a biblical worldview, these are trying times.

Ironically, the very events that frighten or depress those without a love for His coming, create a growing sense of anticipation in those of us busy waiting for His return. That's the beauty of Bible prophecy: It reveals your spiritual temperature.

For the prophecy student, world events are not arbitrary or accidental, but a carefully orchestrated plan with a divine purpose. Bible teacher Charlie Campbell explains what role fulfilled prophecy plays in validating our hope in the future as laid out in Scripture:
"Fulfilled prophecy is something that sets the Bible apart from all other religious books. There are 26 other books that people of faith (non-Christian) believe are divinely-inspired. And none of these writings contain any specific fulfilled prophecies. There are no fulfilled prophecies in the Qur'an, the Hindu Vedas, the Bhaqavad-Gita, the sayings of Buddha and Confucius, or in the Book of Mormon. The Bible on the other hand is filled with fulfilled prophecy. In fact 27% of the Bible spoke prophetically at the time it was written. And the authors of the Bible did not just predict a couple of vague things like Jeane Dixon or Nostradamus. The Old Testament alone contains hundreds of very specific prophecies that have already come to pass. The fact that these prophecies were literally fulfilled give us the intellectual basis for believing that future, unfulfilled prophecies regarding the rapture of the Church, the Thousand-year reign of Christ on earth, etc. would also be literally fulfilled."
Current events (especially those that revolve around Israel), viewed through the lense of Bible prophecy can (and should) have a purifying effect on the Christian's life. Why? Because as we see the world lining up precisely as predicted, the Bible comes alive for us. Jesus Christ becomes real for us. And the realization that we will stand before a holy God and give an account of our lives, motivates us to live in the way the Bible teaches us to live. What man views as a "good life" doesn't count. It is God's opinion that matters.
"We must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad"(2 CORINTHIANS 5:10).
A wise man once said: "The clock of human history is ticking away. It neither speeds up nor slows down. It just keeps on ticking continually and relentlessly, moving us closer and closer to the end of the age. How close we are to the end will only be revealed by time itself. Don't gamble with your eternal destiny. Time may very well be running out. Make sure you are ready when Jesus comes." - the late Ed Hindson, Bible teacher
"And now, dear children, continue to live in fellowship with Christ so that when He returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from Him in shame" (1 JOHN 2:28).

"Why Is The World In Chaos?"

Geoffrey Grider, of Now The End Begins, may have hit the nail on the head when he wrote:

"Remember that Jesus warns us that the very first sign of the beginning of sorrows, a time that has its doctrinal fulfillment after the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, is universal deception.

"Universal deception is where we find ourselves right now, living in a world where everything the politicians in any country say is a lie, with the global media printing and broadcasting disinformation and misinformation 24 hours per day."

Grider believes that the world entered into the time period known as "the beginning of sorrows" back in 2020, when the entire planet was suddenly plunged into confusion and deception. This, he says, could signal that the end of the Church Age is rapidly approaching.

"The world continues its accelerated journey into darkness and spiritual blindness with the unsaved not even aware they are preparing themselves to receive, not Jesus Christ, but the satanic imitation of Antichrist."

Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries agrees, but adds:

"Evil, my friends, is not winning. The story of the Bible is that there is hope in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

"God promises to rescue His Church...some reading this will never die. Instead, they will be air-lifted out of this broken world by the Bridegroom, who will rescue His Bride. And what lies ahead for His Church is glorious beyond words. What lies ahead for the wicked (or unforgiven) is unthinkable."

Bottom line? Time is short. Seriously examine yourself to make sure you're in the faith.

A wise woman once said: "For some reason, God has allowed YOU to understand the grand plan outlined in the Bible. Better days are ahead. Actually, glorious days are ahead." - Jan Markell, Olive Tree Ministries

"When you see the events I've described beginning to happen, you can know His return is very near, right at the door" (MATTHEW 24:33).
