"Bombshell Rapture News: Are The Dead Sea Scrolls a Prophetic Time Capsule?"

Imagine if you will, a group of ancient Jewish scribes hunkered down in caves by the Dead Sea, scribbling prophecies that nail the future with shocking accuracy.

Known as the Essenes, this apocalyptic Jewish sect lived communally at Qumran, near the Dead Sea and established a scriptorium and library where they copied and hid biblical and sectarian manuscripts in nearby caves.

Fast-forward 2,000+ years and we have almost the entire Old Testament preserved for us in the Dead Sea Scrolls, proving the ancient biblical texts are 99% word-for-word exactly the same as our modern biblical text.

No corruption whatsoever.

But that ain't all folks. These guys weren't just copying Scripture. The caves at Qumran were also full of ancient texts and prophetic writings that line up with the Bible and add context that make connecting the (end-time) dots that much easier.

Though there are many insights and prophecies, here's just one...

According to Ken Johnson, DSS expert and scholar, the Scrolls strongly hint at a pre-trib rapture by describing the righteous being "taken" or transformed before major judgment.

This supports an imminent pre-trib Rapture, with the Holy Spirit within the Church acting as a restrainer. (see 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7).

While we can't say the Essene writings are on a par with Scripture, we can say their prophecies for the First Coming were on target. For instance:

Long before Jesus was even born, the Essenes anticipated the Messiah would be God incarnate who would die for the sins of the world around the year AD 32 - details that proved so accurate that the Essenes didn't hesitate to follow Jesus when He finally came, even though it could have cost them their lives.

Bottom line? If the Essenes nailed the First Coming, we believe there's a good chance they got the second one right too.
