While most of the country was distracted by the latest COVID surge, a federal agency in the District of Columbia made a quiet announcement:
They plan to collect, store, and maintain a list of every employee who has refused to get vaccinated against COVID-19 on religious grounds.
According to The Daily Signal, an online news publication founded by the conservative thinktank The Heritage Foundation, this new system is clearly a "stealth test" operation and "will likely serve as a model for a whole-of-government push to assemble lists of Americans who object on religious grounds to a COVID-19 vaccine."
Meanwhile, at least seven other federal agencies, including five Cabinet departments, are setting up similar "personal religious information" databases.
And that ain't all folks. So are the federal departments of:
- Treasury
- Interior
- Housing and Urban Development
- Health and Human Services
- Transportation
- The General Services Administration
- Security and Exchange Commission
