For weeks now, Iranians have been flooding the streets in protest. And the more the government cracks down, the greater the escalation.
What started with a few economic grievances, has morphed into multitudes, nationwide, in hundreds of cities, across all provinces, demanding political change and an end to the current regime.
Defiant in spite of mass casualties and thousands of arrests, the Irainian people refuse to be quelled.
And that ain't all folks.
Apparently there's another strange (though unrelated?) phenomenon taking place across Iran: Dreams and visions of Jesus.
Organizations like Tranform Iran, Elam Ministries and Mission Network News (among many other sources) are reporting these experiences, with hundreds of Iranians describing Jesus as coming to them in a dream or vision as "The Man in white".
But it's not just Iran. This phenomenon is happening all over the Middle East. In fact it has become so widespread, some ministries have begun to take out ads in local newspapers instructing dreamers and visionaries to call them if they've had an encounter with the Man in white.
Why is all this happening now? We don't know, but Scripture does predict that:
"In the last days, God says,'I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.'" (ACTS 2:17)Pray for the Iranian people to topple the current regime and gain religious freedom. Maybe the two phennomena are related after all.
