So what's wrong with the world? Apparently, everything, everywhere, all at once.

Best selling author, trends analyst, economic researcher and doctor in toxicology, Chris Martensen, has a warning for us all:

Decades of progress went into reverse as the world reacted to the global pandemic. Food insecurity, social unrest and political uncertainty are on the rise in nation after nation. According to World Vision:

• The threat of starvation now faces 45 million people in 43 nations around the globe.
• There are currently more active conflicts than at any time since 1945. Wars, insurgencies, civil unrest and political chaos are spreading globally and displacing millions.
• Extreme weather events, earthquakes and new disease outbreaks have strained global resources to the breaking point.

There's no getting around it, gang. Our world is in bad shape. And while that has always been the case, until the Jews got back in the Land in 1948, the prophetic scenario had yet to encompass everything, everywhere, all at once.

"What Do Happy, Healthy People Have In Common?"

Want to raise happier, healthier, more well-adjusted and psychologically-balanced kids?

If so, pay close attention to what follows.

A study from Harvard's T.H. Chan School of Public Health comes to the same conclusions as countless other studies: Children who are raised in the church and taught to pray tend to do better in almost every category than those who are not.

The research, published in the American Journal of Epidemiology found that those who attended religious services at least once a week as children or teens were more likely to report being happier in their 20's than those who never attended by about 18%. They were also 30% more likely to do volunteer work and 33% less likely to use drugs or alcohol.

Those who prayed every day reaped even more profound effects, reporting greater:

• life satisfaction
• ability to process emotions
• forgiveness of others
• exhibited better academic performances

They were also less likely to become sexually active at an earlier age or to acquire an STD. And it works for adults, too.

According to the study, "Empirical research suggest that religion is associated with better health and well-being in adults. For instance, there is a gradient relationship between frequent religious service attendance and lower mortality risk, even in the most rigorous studies."

Benefits include:

• greater psychological well-being
• character strengths
• reduced mental illness
• and happier marriages

"Is The Stage Being Set For An Economic Collapse?"

Though the Scriptures don't spell it out, there are enough hints to give us a pretty good idea that all will not remain rosy on the economic front.

But let's be careful not to allow our interpretations of Bible prophecy to be colored by apparent trends in current events.

As difficult as it is sometimes, let's close our eyes to what is happening in our world today and allow the Bible to be its own interpreter.

Remember, Bible prophecy is often purposely obscure or dressed in double meanings:

1. Because we have an adversary intent on foiling God's plans.
2. Because God's word must be relevant to every generation, prophecy often has both a near, or partial fulfillment, as well as a distant, or final fulfillment. 

So what does the Bible say about a coming economic collapse?

Actually, it says very little--directly.

And yet,  prophecy teachers have always taught there would be one. Why? 

Because, just as the doctrine of the Trinity is never spelled out for us in Scripture, it is undeniably there. An economic collapse is there too--by implication.

One only has to read the Book of Revelation to get a glimpse of what's coming.

There will be wars, pestilence (or infectious epidemics), famine and natural disasters. Revelation 6 describes the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse; #3 mentions food prices:

"When the Lamb broke the third seal, I heard the third living being say, "Come!" And I looked up and saw a black horse, and its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. And a voice from among the four living beings said, "A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley for a day's pay. And don't waste the olive oil and wine." 

This rider on the black horse takes prosperity from the earth and replaces it with famine and hyperinflation.

The Book of James doesn't mince words when it says in Chapter 5: 

"Look here, you rich people, weep and groan with anguish because of all the terrible troubles ahead of you. Your wealth is rotting away and your fine clothes are moth-eaten rags. Your gold and silver have become worthless. The very wealth you were counting on will eat away your flesh in hell. This treasure you have accumulated will stand as evidence against you in the last days."

These scriptures (among others) paint a bleak economic picture, but Revelation 13:16-17 is the clincher: 

"He (Antichrist) required everyone--great and small, rich and poor, slave or free--to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything with out that mark..."

Well, we don't know about you--but most people would probably balk at giving up their money in exchange for a mark...unless, of course, their money didn't cut the mustard anymore. The Bible makes it clear these judgments will emcompass the entire planet. Who could have guessed 2,000 years ago we'd end up with a global economy?

This doesn't necessarily mean that our current economic troubles are in any way connected to Bible prophecy. It's possible the banks will recover, and everything will be hunky dory again.

In fact, some Scriptures imply things will appear to be humming along like normal just before the Rapture takes place.

In Luke 17, Jesus says: 

"When the Son of Man returns, the world will be like the people were in Noah's day. In those days before the flood, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came to destroy them all...yes, it will be 'business as usual' right up to the hour when the Son of Man returns."

1Thessalonians 5 says that Day will come "unexpectantly, like a thief in the night. When people are saying, 'All is well; everything is peaceful and secure', then disaster will fall upon them as suddenly as a woman's birth pains begin when her child is born. And there will be no escape."

Sounds contradictory until you remember that there are yet two comings of Christ:

1. The rapture of the church. The church will be rescued, but the world at large will be caught completely off guard and left behind to endure the time of trial that will come upon the whole earth. (Revelation 3:10).
2. The Second Coming of Christ.  Comes 7 years later, when the world is neck deep in judgment.

We're betting the final economic collapse comes sometime between these two events. It's possible the sudden disappearence of millions of people triggers the collapse. Imagine the panic, the absolute chaos.

So, if the Bible predicts a global economic collapse, are we seeing the very beginnings of it now? We don't know. It could be just another economic cycle, or it could be one of those famous 'birth pains'. Only time will tell.

"The World Elite Is Controlling The Masses"

Is there really a global network of insiders that is determined to wield power over all of mankind?

Most definitely, but that "network" of insiders are spiritual entities bent on destroying the work of Christ. "This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world (1 JOHN 4:3).

The antichrist spirit sows seeds of deception, lawlessness and destruction and is even now on the move globally. Just as John the Baptist was sent as the forerunner for Christ, the antichrist spirit is preparing the way for the Antichrist.

And while the world may not recognize the spiritual dimension of what has been transpiring globally over the last several years, the discerning Christian will.

For instance, natural medicine guru, Dr. Joseph Mercola, founder of Take Control of Your Health, is very aware something is up. His analysis?

Mass psychosis.

Dr. Mercola defines mass psychosis as an "epidemic of madness that occurs when a large portion of society loses touch with reality and descends into delusions.

Mercola cites the witch hunts during the 16th and 17th centuries as a classic example of mass psychosis along with the rise of totalitarianism in the 20th century.

"When a society descends into madness, the results are always devastating. Individuals who make up the affected society become morally and spiritually inferior, unreasonable, irresponsible, emotional, erratic, and unreliable. Worst of all, a psychotic mob will engage in atrocities that any solitary individual within the group would normally never consider."

Mercola goes on to explain the psychogenic steps that lead a society into madness which include:

• fear
• confusion
• panic that leads to "menticide"

"Menticide" is a term that means "killing of the mind." According to Mercola:

"It's a way of controlling the masses by systematically killing the human spirit and free thought. It's a system through which the ruling elite imprints their own delusional worldview onto society. A society is primed for menticide by the intentional sowing of fear and social isolation."

We believe Dr. Mercola is correct when he says the "ruling elite" are controlling the masses.

But who is controlling the ruling elite?

"CERN: Can't Outrun The Rumors"

No, CERN's particle accelerator can't open a cosmic black hole, or create a portal to other dimensions...(at least that's what the fact-checkers claim), but it is up and running again--and so are the rumors that have plagued it from the get go.

In certain circles (read: scientifically illiterate conspiracy theorists and tinfoil hat-wearing underground bunker-dwellers) speculation runs wild over the particle-smashing Large Hadron Collider (LHC).

Run by the European Organization for Nuclear Research, CERN has become the world's most notorious breeding ground for occultic scenarios.

Why? The best answer is CERN itself. Consider:

• The CERN campus features a huge statue of the Hindu "god of destruction" Shiva (aka "the lord of the dark"; Apollyon or Abaddon of Revelation 9:11 fame).
• CERN is built in the exact location as the ancient Apollo Temple.
• The CERN logo is 3 intertwined 6's (as in 666).
• Ahead of its launch, CERN scientists allegedly performed a bizarre "Dance of Destruction"
• And last, but certainly not least: a video depicting a "mock" ritual human sacrifice was filmed in front of the statue of Shiva, the god of destruction (again allegedly) performed by CERN scientists. (All videos have been taken down)

CERN released a statement admitting it was their campus where the video was filmed, "but without official permission or knowledge."

CERN, Europe's top physics lab and home of the Large Hadron Collider, understandably has tight security. No one gets on campus without an access badge.

Those who participated in the "mock" occult ritual must have had access badges--presumably scientists.

CERN's explanation? "CERN welcomes every year thousands of scientific users from all over the world and sometimes some of them let their humour go too far."

Okay...we can take a joke, but somebody better tell the CERN Director of Research, Sergio Berolucci because he wasn't laughing when he said: "The Large Hadron Collider could open a doorway to an extra dimension and out of this doorway might...come something."

'Something' like what? A troop of black-cloaked scientists doing the Dance of Destruction for the Hindu deity Shiva?
