Because we are living in the most incredible times the world has ever known, it is becoming clear even to the dimmest among us that something unusual is happening. Every new turn of events seems stranger than the last.
So, what will 2021 bring?
Tom Standage, editor of "The World in 2021", sees 10 trends to watch in the coming year. Here's just one of them:
Fights over vaccines, within and between countries who should get them and when. In fact, many prognosticators believe vaccines will be the hottest topic of 2021. For instance, while the Israeli government says it will not force its population to be vaccinated, the market place will. According to Israeli commentators, such as Mike Cernovich, "You won't be able to buy, sell or trade without the vaccine." Allen Smith, of Better Work Places Better World believes it's only a matter of time before employers require their workforce to be vaccinated.
Top Trends analyst, Gerald Celente sees another ominous trend for 2021: Depression.
"Lives have been destroyed around the world due to lockdowns. This is unprecedented. There is something bigger than safety and politics about what is going on. To me, this is satanic.
"What they are doing to people's lives by destroying their businesses is unprecedented in world history, and it's not only in the United States, it's worldwide."
Celente believes 2021 will bring more of the same deliberate economic destruction, resulting in the greatest global depression of all time.
Alex Newman, founder of Liberty Sentinel, agrees that there is likely to be some very significant turbulence in the year ahead.
"In addition to being one of the most dangerous and unstable times in American history, this moment is also one of the most uncertain when it comes to the future," he said.
Newman forecasts very trying economic trends, including a push for a digital, one-world currency. He believes a Biden presidency will accelerate efforts to entrench one-party rule in America, open our borders to a flood of immigration, and put the country back on the fast-track toward Globalism.
His advice? Pray and prepare--physically, emotionally, and above all, spiritually.
"The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light" (ROMANS 13:12).
A wise man once said: "While Christians have an obligation to be a light in the darkness, to expose evil and to occupy until He comes, they must always remember that the hope of God's people is not in this world. Regardless of what comes in 2021, never forget Who is on the throne--or the fact that He is coming back, not as a baby in a manger, but as Judge and King with Crowns and a Sword (REV. 19:11-21) to smite the nations. Prepare accordingly." -- Alex Newman, award-winning journalist and founder of Liberty Sentinel
"Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has done" (REVELATION 22:12).
