"UN Warning: Global Famines Of 'Biblical Proportion' Coming Next"

Famines of "biblical proportions" are slated to hit the developing world in "just a matter of months," the UN warned on Tuesday.

According to the Chief of the UN's Food Relief Agency, hundreds of millions of people will be at risk of starvation unless quick action is taken, reports CNN.

"More than 30 countries in the developing world could experience widespread famine, and in 10 of those countries there are already more than 1 million people on the brink of starvation," said David Beasley, Executive Director of the World Food Program.

The reason? Locusts, local wars, the pandemic, and yes--politics.

"This is truly more than a pandemic--it is creating a hunger pandemic," said Beasley. "This is a humanitarian and food catastrophe."

As the virus sweeps through the developing world, the fragile healthcare systems of scores of countries are being quickly overwhelmed, even as their already struggling economies shut down.

In a region already devastated by the worst locust swarms in decades, this economic disaster is truly epic.

Meanwhile, the U.S. food supply isn't exactly immune to the pandemic.

"Tyson Foods is warning that millions of pounds of meat will disappear from the supply chain as the coronavirus pandemic pushes food processing plants to close, leading to product shortages in grocery stores across the country. The food supply chain is breaking," says John Tyson.

"U.S. farmers don't have anywhere to sell their livestock," Tyson said. "Millions of animals--chickens, pigs and cattle--will be depopulated (euthanized) because of the closure of our processing facilities."

COVID-19 outbreaks have closed about a dozen U.S. meatpacking plants this month, even as millions of pounds of milk, eggs, fruits and vegetables are being destroyed "due to the brittle supply chains," warns Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie, in the Washington Examiner.

And while the Bible does predict a downward spiral of events (including epidemics and famines, among other things) that will gradually increase the closer we get to Christ's return--it shouldn't scare us. It is meant to prepare us. Now is the time to repent and spiritually prepare.

"A Micro-Chipped Vaccine To The Rescue?"

"MIT engineers have developed a way to store medical information under the skin using a quantum dot dye that is delivered, along with a vaccine, by a micro needle patch (or tattoo)," this according to MIT News. "The dye, which is invisible to the naked eye, can be read later using a specially adapted smartphone."

Meanwhile, Big Pharma and Microsoft (Bill Gates has contributed $2.5 billion & is the driving force behind the vaccine) have teamed up with the Rockefeller Foundation, Accenture, Gavi, and IDEO-ORG (so far) to form ID2020, a digital ID/vaccine combo. Their goal? Vaccinate everyone on the planet against disease while at the same time implanting a digital ID.

Known as "The Alliance", ID2020 is a collaborative effort of global partners, with as approach that is "holistic" and "market-based". A platform for "diverse benefits and services, and use cases throughout an individual's life," according to the ID2020 website.

Translation? This globalist alliance wants us all implanted (or "vaccinated") with a digital tracking chip that will create a seamless monitoring system that's "holistic" and life long.

holistic: characterized by comprehension of the whole person. In other words-- everything- medical, financial, and you-name-it, from cradle to grave.

With the Third World as their guinea pig for the last decade or so, ID2020 is now working with governments here in the United States to start (mandatory?) micro-chipping homeless people.

"The City of Austin, ID2020, and several other partners are working together with homeless people and the service providers who engage with them to develop a block chain-enabled digital identity platform called MYPASS to empower homeless people with their own identity data." And presumable a coronavirus vaccine once it's available.

"We are implementing a forward-looking approach to digital identity that gives individuals control over their own personal information, while still building off existing systems and programs" says Anir Chowdhurry, a policy adviser at A21,who openly admits digital identity systems will eventually be necessary for "individuals' access to services and livelihoods."

"Massive Locust Swarm Blocks The Sun : Biblical Plague?"

While most of the world is busy staying home practicing social-distancing, a new wave of locusts is threatening Africa with starvation.

That's right folks--massive locust swarms, big enough to swallow New York three times over, have been ravaging the food supply of East African nations including Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, Djibouti, Eritrea and several Middle Eastern countries.

"The infestation started in 2019 after a cyclone caused heavy rainfall," reports The Atlantic Black Star. "The wet landscape was a perfect spot for desert locusts to lay eggs. Normally, the locusts die off when the area becomes drier, but two more cyclones allowed them to continue to reproduce every three months."

A swarm containing 4-8 million insects can consume enough food to feed 3.5 million humans for one day. And now scientists believe a new wave of locusts, a swarm 400 times larger will hit by June. 

"East Africa already has 20 million severely food insecure people, who barely eat enough to fill their stomachs each day," according to the UN Food & Agriculture Organization (UNFAO). "This new wave of locusts poses a serious threat to food security in a region recently devastated by conflict, droughts and floods, and is now anticipating a sharp rise in novel coronavirus (Covid-19) cases."

And while famines and epidemics (among other things) are part of the End Time scenario, it's sometimes hard to reconcile these things with a loving God.

However, "God's disciplines," according to gotquestions.org, always have the goal of repentance and restoration. For instance, in 2 Chronicles 7: 13-14, God said to Solomon:

"Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on My people, if they pray to Me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again."

"New Poll: Millions Believe Virus a 'Wake-up Call' From God"

A new national poll reveals the surprising, life-altering view some Americans are having in response to the pandemic crisis.

How surprising?

"A stunning 44% of Americans polled said they see the global coronavirus pandemic and economic meltdown as a wake-up call for us to turn back to faith in God, as signs of coming judgment, or both," reports Joel C. Rosenberg, founder of the Joshua Fund which commissioned the survey and published the poll in The Jerusalem Post.

"What I found particularly intriguing was how many millions of Americans are seeing the crisis in spiritual terms," Rosenberg said.

"For example, fully one-in-four self-identified "secular" Americans (25%) said they believe this crisis is a "wake-up call" to get back to faith in God. So did 42% of Jewish-Americans," Rosenberg added.

As well as:

• 58% of Republicans
• 41% of Democrats

The really surprising part is this:

"Americans are not simply saying faith is more important to them than ever before. The poll indicates they are taking concrete actions," Rosenberg said.

For instance:

"Nearly four-in-10 (38%) Jewish-Americans say the crisis is not only causing them to start reading the Bible, but listen to Bible teaching and Christian sermons online, even though they usually don't. What's more, they say they are now searching online for teaching on Bible prophecy and God's future for mankind, and/or engaging in more spiritual conversations with family and friends," Rosenberg said.

The poll also shows that millions of Americans who are not self-identified Christians are doing the same, including 28% of those ages 18-29 and 36% of those between 30 and 40.

"This was both surprising and encouraging," Rosenberg said.

Less encouraging?

According to the poll, the older a non-Christian is, the less likely they are to be open to the Bible or Christian teaching. Only 7% of non-Christian people over 65 turn to the Bible for answers.

"Finally," says Rosenberg, "in an age when few people openly discuss Bible prophecy and the End Times, it was striking that nearly three-in-10 (29%) of all Americans said they believe that this crisis indicates that we are living in what the Bible calls the 'last days'."
